Dwight has been provided accounting and IT services since 1985. After completing his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Calgary in 1987, Dwight began his career as an internal auditor for a multi-national oil and gas company drawing on his finance and accounting training in university. He moved into Information Technology as a liaison between the Finance Department and IT.
After several years in a variety of IT roles, in 1997 Dwight founded Results Matter Inc. to provide management consulting services. The practice ares are IT Service Management consulting, coaching, and management consulting.
Dwight has been part of teams and has lead teams implementing ITSM in many top organizations including BMC Software, ServiceMaster, the Government of Alberta, and the California Independent System Operator (CaISO). He has also worked as a consultant for BMC Software, IBM, and Hewlett Packard.
In 2018 Dwight founded Results Matter Cloud Services Inc. to bring together the technology products and services being provided. Service include digital marketing, ITSM implementations, and IT support and solutions.
Dwight believes that teams get more done when individuals understand and accept their role, expectations and deadlines are clear, rewards and accountability occur fairly, and leaders are perceived to be invested in achieving results.
In sports and in business, he has coached leaders and teams to improve their performance in visible ways. Between 2008 and 2015, Dwight was an Assistant Coach with the SAIT Polytechnic Men’s Basketball Program in Calgary, Canada. His areas of focus were team dynamics, mental toughness, and character development. Change is an inside out process and starts with the individual knowing themselves, honouring their commitments, and ultimately finding their voice.
Dwight has practitioner level certification in ITIL V2 IPRC Practitioner, ITIL V2 IPSR Practitioner, ITIL V3 certifiation, PRINCE2 practitioner, and a variety of BMC Remedy training.
He is strategic, an ITSM implementation accelerator, and an ITIL based service delivery transformers. Dwight lives in Calgary, Canada.
